DRS is dedicated to nurturing the literary abilities of students from early childhood through their pre-university years. Through a variety of literary activities, DRS aims to cultivate language proficiency and excellence in students. These activities encompass all four language skills: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing.
These initiatives serve to augment students' talents and capabilities while fostering individual growth and confidence through inter-house competitions. The activities are designed to make learning enjoyable and engaging.
Beyond the classroom, DRS School provides enriching experiences and extracurricular activities such as art and craft, aimed at nurturing students' aspirations. These activities are designed to equip students with transferable skills while ensuring they enjoy themselves. All classes are facilitated by experts in their respective fields, ensuring quality guidance and learning experiences for students.
We emphasise providing a diverse range of extra-curricular activities. Co-curricular activities are meant to bring social skills, intellectual skills, moral values, personality progress and character appeal in students. Co-curricular activities are designed and balanced with the academic curriculum so that every student gets to learn beyond subjects. It includes music, dance, drama, and cultural events.
At DRS School of Excellence, our comprehensive physical education program is integral to school life, ensuring students' overall well-being and fostering lifelong skills. With extensive facilities including football, volleyball, kabaddi, kho-kho, and tennis courts, our campus provides ample opportunities for both team and individual sports.
Through a structured curriculum, students not only develop proficiency in sports but also cultivate essential traits such as attentiveness, respect, authenticity, and excellence, contributing to their holistic growth and success.
The Student Council at DRS School of Excellence stands as a proud and duty-bound entity, established with the aim of nurturing leadership qualities among our young learners. Led by the School Captain and Vice Captain, a dedicated group of volunteers forms the backbone of the Student Council.
Together, they work tirelessly to manage various activities that instill a sense of responsibility and leadership among students — learning teamwork, decision-making, and effective communication along the way.
We're committed to nurturing our students' holistic development through carefully planned excursions that offer immersive learning experiences. These outings, including industry visits and trips to places like supermarkets and parks, provide real-world insights beyond classroom teachings, fostering intellectual curiosity and a love for learning.
